Integrating our Web Timesheet Entry Tools™ with MS Outlook
 
Our Track-IT web edition, and Java Servlet web timesheet allows for easy entry of timesheet and expense data through the Internet, or Intranet. If employees are using Microsoft Outlook they can integrate their data entry with Microsoft Outlook, so that when they clicks on their contact folder the webpage for their timesheet is automatically displayed for quick time and expense entry. Click once more, and their contacts are displayed. See what we mean.
 
EASY TO SET UP AND USE

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select the default contact folder.
  3. Right click on this contact folder, and choose Properties.
  4. Select Home Page and check off Show home page by default.
  5. Enter the web address for our software (Track-IT web edition, re: http://www.timetrackingsoftware.com).
  6. Click OK.

Note: If you choose not to show the home page by default, you can still view the folder's home page by clicking the folder and then clicking Show Folder Home Page on the View menu.

 

You can also add a shortcut to Track-IT web edition on the Outlook Bar.

Follow these simple steps:

  1. On the File menu, point to New and then click Outlook Bar Shortcut to Web Page.

Note: If you choose not to show the home page by default, you can still view the folder's home page by clicking the folder and then clicking Show Folder Home Page on the View menu.
